Shmoptimus Prime

Allow me to let you in on a little secret: I have three sisters.  Two older, one younger.  My oldest sister, Teresa, and I share the same very strange sense of humor. We can hold an entire conversation based solely on obscure movie quotes and video game references. 

We also will speak

Entirely in haiku

Because we can, yo.

This week's comic describes one incident in particular that shows just how awesome --and weird-- these conversations really are.

It started as just a typical night.  Teresa was over and we were hanging out watching "Transformers."

And that's how it began.

 

This went on for twenty straight minutes.

We came up with some ones that were already stretching it ("If he were an orphan he'd be ADOPTimus Prime!") and were borderline offensive ("If he were Italian he'd be WOPtimus Prime!")  (But we're allowed to say that 'cause we're Italian. ;-D )  But eventually we began to run out of things that rhymed with "op."

Until. . .

And that's why Transformers reminds me of Danny Glover.
